How does Potluck make money?

Founder memberships at $9/month. That's it. Potluck takes nothing from your donations — we never touch that money. Payment processors (Stripe) charge their standard rates, which pass through to you at cost with no markup. We make money when your organization succeeds and stays. That's the whole business model.

A question we hear a lot

If I cancel my Founder membership, what happens to my custom domain?

Your custom domain is registered in your organization's name — it belongs to you. While you're a Founder member, we handle annual renewals for you. If you cancel, we stop renewing the domain, so before your next renewal date you'll want to transfer it to your own registrar account. Email us at support@usepotluck.org and we'll walk you through the transfer — no charge, no runaround.
